The Moon Illusion.A Poem by EllieIf unknown, the moon illusion is the idea that the moon, when behind a setting of smaller proportion to it's self appears, but is not, bigger.
The moon fixed into this oblivion,
Tainted; bright still, in it's surrounding. A dew amongst salted tear drops, Condescending, enticing. I move, still a glimmer in the darkness, The same moon; changed. Bigger, brighter amongst these smaller things, Only betrayed by my own senses, An illusion, You. © 2015 EllieAuthor's Note
