The Moon Illusion.

If unknown, the moon illusion is the idea that the moon, when behind a setting of smaller proportion to it's self appears, but is not, bigger.

The moon fixed into this oblivion,
Tainted; bright still, in it's surrounding.
A dew amongst salted tear drops,
Condescending, enticing.

I move, still a glimmer in the darkness,
The same moon; changed.
Bigger, brighter amongst these smaller things,
Only betrayed by my own senses,
An illusion,
You.

I'm not sure what is in your head, but in mine, the moon - open and clear herself - is unaware of the shadows she casts that can trick us into believing things that aren't true. Very beautiful. Just one, personal, critique - the semi-colon after tainted seems out of place to me. Otherwise, very beautiful.
