Rise Forever

Rise Forever

A Poem by BigBoyJohn
"

Comment and tell me what you think! :)

"
Strong I stand with burden on my shoulders,
Growing larger forming a boulder.
As time passes my knees start to buckle,
In my face defeat starts to chuckle.
Not sure how this will end,
I am forced to be strengthened.
Lower and low inch by inch,
Muscles starting to twitch.
Can't rise until I fall,
For this i'm willing to give it all.
We fall to learn to pick ourselves up,
Our tears sink into a great collecting cup.
We pay the piper,
We praise the Herald.
Light is bleak in this narrow tunnel,
Thought and dreams poured into the funnel.
One final place they lay,
Where bugs play and we decay.
Hope is one thing we can't lose,
No matter how battered or bruised.
Let's go and fall together,
So we can rise forever.
