Memories That Never Were

Memories That Never Were

A Poem by Gaige

Am I wasting my time trying to feel
Reaching for something fallen far away
I can't contemplate the end to my days
But it's far too close and far too real

Days pass and months end
Hollow years which keep here; a prison
I see you in dreams too surreal
I'm too weak to ask for more
God how I wish I was stronger
Strong enough to be your cure

Such a story, and dreamy, with such feelings. Nice, I like the ending lines.

I think your poems awsome but If you ask me it should go:
Am I wasting my time trying to feel
Reaching for something fallen far away
I can't contemplate the end to my days
But it's far too close and far too real
Days pass and months "go by"
Hollow years which keep "me" here; a prison
I see you in dreams too surreal
I'm too weak to ask for more
God how I wish I was stronger
Strong enough to be your cure

Actually, never mind its good :)
