The Wandering Path

The Wandering Path

A Poem by Gaige

I've always counted steps
and passing road signs
but I've never bothered
to keep the time

I've waited on light
Promised in a sunrise
wondering what is one man
against the stars
and the fate
of which they are comprised

I've seen endless sand
and the sorrow waves consume
felt strength in gentle hands
and heard the call
of a forlorn moon

I've walked this earth
with beauty in my stride
searching for meaning
in a meaningful life

This flowed really well with a great rhyme and meter. Your words are very clear and concise and it is as though you've found your purpose in life...
