Remember the time we first met?

We were young and free

We were the best of friends

Remember the time we started school?

I was scared, you were there

You helped me keep my cool

Remember the time we had our first fight?

You were mad, I was sad

But we both apologized

Remember the time you asked me on a date?

We joked and we laughed

Promising to do it again

Remember the time we shared our first kiss?

It was clumsy and sloppy

But a moment i'm glad we didn't miss

Remember the time you asked my hand in marriage?

I cried happy tears

I immediately started planning

Remember the time we had our first baby girl?

Brown curls, bright eyes

Giggling, smiling, waving 'hi'

Remember the time we grew old?

Creaky backs, shaky legs

But laugh lines on our faces

Remember the time I got sick?

We were worried and sad

Hoping it’d be over real quick

Remember the times we spent together?

Through happy days and the sad

But our time is over and together we’ve reached the end.
