Obfuscated MirrorA Poem by Nadia ZahranAs your lips drip incomprehensible rhythmic patterns Criss-crossing, tongue-tied exposure that wraps me up Sneezing out sugar-coated lenses that eroticize my existence Splish-splashing around and I have lost control Lost the need to control Comfort that keeps me blockaded Enclosed in a finger twitching Hair curling And then Subtly smearing away this fear Stripped to the bone And my lips drip harmless incisions That oozes out And intoxicates me once again Eroticizing my thoughts In and out Out So the slurring makes sense © 2017 Nadia ZahranReviews
