A New World Begins

A New World Begins

A Poem by Muketsu

A dangerous wind

A dangerous night

A blood reddened moon rises

Setting events in motion

Calling the troops

A rally of creatures

Swords at the ready

A final battle soon beginning

Clashing of swords and soulds

Driving out the dark fiends

A war hath gone fought

Bloodied nightmares murder

Screams filling the midnight hour

A blood reddened moon sets

A battle won A battle lost

A blood moon sets upon a brand new world

I actually wrote this on paper probably around '06 or '05, not sure which. I never date my stuff. I'm just surprised that someone read my stuff. Thank you! I'll actually have to read my stories over again and see if I can work up the imagination and courage up to complete them.

Sounds like what may happen over there in the Ukraine, I enjoyed your poem and can visualize the battle and the outcome. Just wish us humans would learn from the past rather than continually reliving it. Started to read your " Space Story", it is interesting and I will continue reading it I am curious to see if there will be a response to my review, considering you wrote this pom in 2007 and posted it in the writers cafe in 2008
