Home Coming

 

One day, Reeve, Eli and Mackenzie's home was destroyed by snow. They were very sad. So they decided to built a new home.

 

 Together they found some dry ground. Then they gathered sticks, leaves, mud, and grass. They put everything into seperate piles.

 

 

When everything was all tidy, they stuck the sticks into the ground. When the sticks were in nice and tight, they made walls out of leaves, then tied everything together with grass. But there were still holes in the walls and no roof.  So the used the mud to plug up the holes.

 

Unfortunately, they still didn't have a roof. Reeve flew up into a tree to find some broken branches. She carried some down and they tied them on top of the house.

 

Then they had a home. They lived happily all through winter in a nice warm house, making beds out of grass, mud, and twigs. They also made a little fire outside every night and told stories and ate dinner.
