Dreaming Place

Dreaming Place

A Poem by Nyida Strong

Laid softly upon a bed of creation,
the child dreams of his world
in all it's splendor.

He dreams of the fox that tricked
the chief's son into marriage.
He dreams of the fairies who
promised to play with him in moonlight.

There is nothing to fear
in his world of dreams
and delights forever protected
by Uncles in the trees and Aunts
dancing in the clouds.

A beautiful work of art only accentuated by the surreal imagery you've painted with words.

Well penned!
