Can this portrait stand Against the test of time? That once in a Golden Land An immortal man had lived Like the numerous grains of sand Are abundant generosity of its people But beneath their joyful fun Is the gloomy mist of sorrow
Can this be the ultimate art In portraying what he had died for? He was indeed a glowing spark In showing people the road to freedom Country in turmoil, lost and in the dark Untainted by power was what he was July 19th of 1947 was the day that marked The unending grief of a nation
