Unreal RealityA Poem by nyiIs the nature of love so serene? And by its touch I might be redeemed? As I reach out for human faith Love is actually a barren place Love as in the form of illusion? Don’t wake me up from this delusion Why is pure love so rare? Might search it for my whole life that I dare Without love, life becomes cheap Obsessed with ego our hearts are reaped Bouncing up and down in life With our might, for what do we fight? Craving for things that will not last Outrun by nature, share the love we must All alone somewhere in our private place Acting strong and mighty, hiding our fragile face Like toddler we hang our hope on stars Desperately reaching for something so so far Blinded by our own greed Risking for things that we do not need So we impeach life itself for a treason With the real and undefined reason Do not let love be crushed By harsh reality until we turn into dust Here and there a fickle of love we should share To young and old, even though life itself isn’t fair When by mortal fear we are being swallowed Afraid not for our hearts will no longer be hollow Nyi ( 17.5.2011 ) © 2011 nyiAuthor's Note
