Absence

Absence

A Poem by nyi
"

"to our love ones that we can't live without"

"

I linger on whisper of the night

They do churn me perhaps they are so right

Plant an insect inside against my might

Feast on my sanity as I try to fight

In tears and veins, hollowness hunts it seems

In dept beyond the real within my realm

Wishing the absence of you would just be a dream

I will wait for you hoping our love is not so mean

A short, yet powerful poem. I loved it! Well done.

Highly surreal, and incredibly vivid...I agree that this poem seems to subtly explores various emotions...I'm not sure about the last two lines...I feel that you are very capable of an ending that packs a harder punch !
But I reiterate, a very good poem :)

A short poem written in a short break while you were at work -
I feel it hides deep meaning.. The image that has been painted through the words is what hit me the most. The ink flows as deep as the page but the feelings flow much deeper.
Keep writing in short intervals :) I find it to be therapeutic esp when on the job.
