Broken Window

Broken Window

A Poem by nyi

Addicted to your kisses like a drug

Your love is a bad medicine for me

Shaking it up by honoring your beauty

Lead me to your disillusioned world

Of giving me a disease called being alone

The simplest two words of good bye form you

Keep rioting inside my head bouncing everywhere

I felt like I have been romancing a stone

Inside there is this absence on rampage

Reflecting on my days and terrorizing them

You slipped into my dream and stole my soul

Or was I just being utterly stupid?

Meeting you was a fantasy turned regret

You shattered my dreams like a broken glass

Without a purpose I'm picking up every pieces

For I'm nothing more than a broken window now

Sometime what we want. Isn't what we need. I like the story in the poem. Life teaches us. Appearance can trick us. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
