BlindA Poem by Riordan McNewmy attempt at a rap song
I already know I'm the man right,
I don't really gotta hold this mic, Got to prove they don't deserve it, They never realize their purpose, Or that they now are servants To that infernal serpent The design just seems perfect, An endless circle, the snake eats its tail. They feed him everyday with children's dreams, Impossible to ignore the innocent souls screams, But they will never be free, It's only darkness they see. Chorus But In their dreams late at night, They sense that black and white Are one in the same, like yin-yang, Then the sane & irrational mind Maintains that the dreams insane & the brain awakes 1 more day, Blind Well really it's fine As long as I can keep them asleep, The game's mine They can keep stealing beats, & they can keep writing rhymes, Stop wasting all your time On b*tch*s, money and weed If that's your chief inspiration I'm sure He'll let you bleed On that circle at Seth's Station So you can join the nation of geeks, Oh sh*t I meant gangstas that we know so well, As for me, I ain't going to hell I been there & wasn't scared. I learned there's nothing left to fear We've killled fear itself. & You can't see it at all, Maybe once We'll let you ride, Though I get the impression you'd fall, It's clear that you're better off in your shell Afraid of the fire? Just keep the f*ck*n book on the shelf Delusional liar, The only one you fooled is yourself. We're better off you spend the rest of your life Blind © 2012 Riordan McNew |
