A Poem by Riordan McNew
"

A plea on high for help when needed most

"
Innocence swooned, life hath been damned.
Integrity droops, pride lost in the sand.
Cause the reasons, don't ever believe them.
Embrace thy worst horrors, lest we forget
Who paid for our wars, who made us all sick?
Jesus Christ, won't these fools see the light?
Why must they, like Lazarus, be killed to wake up?
Suffering distilled, a more than half-full cup,
The spirit's been smelled, they are on our tail!
Fear not, they are naught. By their own records
Inspired of hate are much worse off than lepers!
Will Zephyr please pull our warriors nearer...
For time is almost over, the lie is called 'years.'
Papa Legba, I love you, with thy help, the mess
We've made of this most Sacred Playground
Made of crystals, salt and tears for the lost
Souls wandering here. We'll all help or perish.
This malingering nature is just so embarrassing...
