tubism

tubism

A Poem by Nik

Neck-deep
in coated shoulders,
hairlines and
uneasy breath,

a well-to-do bag-lady
has a Gucci carrier
as a bag for hands
not shopping.

While a man reads Orwell
learning what it was
to be ruined
in the here and then.

The model close-by
shifts the air with fatigue
and her fillings sashay
down runway teeth

Feeling slightly nauseous
arm up as if hailing
my stop, I stand
as small as I can be.

Very good - it reminds me of closed minds and an unwillingness to bend. A very good work - love the images
