Redraft and resubmit all in one...

belief in a sparse humanity
plagued by the short comings
of our condition, our circumstance.

In felt-tip simplicity, aged to charcoal-grey
yet urban-mythical in appearance,
with the clout  of media magnate copy.

A cardboard cut-out of a different time
neatly nut-shelled on the unmanned bar
with a pottery sentry full of bronze and silver heads,
two words scribbled; Honesty Box…
