NIGHTMARESA Poem by nupur chauhan
I fear to close my eyes again
I feel something under my bed My brain suffering from sleep depriviation My eyes still weepy swollen and red Yet my will drags me from taking rest My soul fears to get in those ghostly films Where my dreams are darker thanthis night Where the lights of my happiness are dim That dark spooky silence speaks more than just words Where demons laugh on deaths They want me alone, fretting, yelling Watching my dear buddies taking their last breath A shadow still behind me listening to my cries At that moment near to death I open my eyes The world of reality welcomes me with gliding stroke of sunlight I am able to hear those birds chirping in the fresh morning air Only my thoughts are left coated with creepy layers Yes,everyday my nerves welcome those nightmares © 2017 nupur chauhanReviews
