Clarity

Clarity

A Poem by Chewing Wildflowers

The problem is my growing hatred for myself,
the problem is my weakening self-confidence,
the solution is metamorphosis.

The problem is my faith in humanity,
the problem is my choice in companionship,
the solution is loneliness.

The problem is my family,
the problem is my childhood,
the solution is to never have been born at all.

The problem is not knowing the future,
the problem is fear of what I'll become,
the solution is death.

The problem is myself
the problem is my my darkness,
the solution is coping.

the solution is breathing.

the solution is, it will get better.
