I Lost My Woman To Another Woman (And I'm Okay With That)

I Lost My Woman To Another Woman (And I'm Okay With That)

A Poem by J. R.
"

Again, I thought it was funny at the time

"
I met my gal when I was a teen
And then one day I'd learn
That she ran away with another queen
Never to return

I have but one regret
Why didn't I see the signs?
I guess that's just what you get
For not reading between the lines

She's with that blonde at the library
And you would think I'd be mad
But oh, on the contrary
It's really not that bad

I lost my woman to another woman
and I'm okay with that
She's now in a happy civil union
And I still have my cat

I love the last line... Most people would be mad but this shows that you aren't really.

LOL you still have your cat... :) Most guys whould have died if they lost their lady to another woman. This shows you really loved her because your ok with her being happy even if it means it isn't with you. cute poem.
