Violet (Unwarranted Self Importance)

Violet (Unwarranted Self Importance)

A Chapter by J. R.
"

Violet, a rich, elegant color, bringing to mind royalty and narcissism

"
I'm a different kind of guy
The kind you see on the Vegas strip
I think I might have seen you
On my last ego trip

I never ride the subway
I think that's just below me
Instead I ride in a limousine
Driven by an underpaid crony

I am a long time member
Of my college fraternity
I come for the alcohol
And stay for the snobbery

I don't know why you hate me
You say it's because I'm callous
Then you say I'm narcissistic
I think you're only jealous

Very nice rhythm. All it needs is a diamond stick pin.... lol. Good job.
