I Am A Doorbell (And So Is He)

I Am A Doorbell (And So Is He)

A Poem by J. R.
"

I just felt like putting out something silly for the sake of being silly while still conveying a message.

"
I'm a doorbell
And so is he
And so is she
And so are we

We hope you can become a doorbell too
Ding dong
Stay up late
Ding dong
Ain't it great?

Let's stick together and procrastinate
Let's stick it to 'em 'cause it's great

I'm a doorbell
And so is she
And so are we
And so are you

Isn't being a doorbell great?

Ding dong
Second rate
Ding dong
Ain't it great?

Ding dong delicious is the hymn we sing
Ding dong delicious is our thing

What a cute poem! It's very sing-song just like a doorbell!

Ooh I love it - very original. I've never come across the idea of people conforming being like a doorbell. But I really works. Good job!

That's a great poem!!
I think,
sometimes, everyone becomes a doorbell.
Nice poem!!

I love this poem. Sometimes you just need something ridiculously meaningful. Everyone wants to fit in so badly--even if it means being a doorbell. I sooo love this.
