One of these days I'll write a happy poem, someday. I hope it flows alright.

I'm trying to figure out what is it that I've done

I wonder who's gone and spoiled all our fun

I know there's something wrong

But I'm unsure of what it is

And I just wish we'd move along

But you're about to do something to me

Somebody cut the lights and I can't see

I don't know who's responsible

But I do know that voice

So I know who it could be

Please get that gun away from me

I know you're angry and I've done you wrong

But please, it doesn't have to be this way

Please stop

I know you want to put me in my place

But please get that gun out of my face

I wish you'd just tell me what to do

I'll do anything you say

Just please put that thing away
