Now that we own everyone

Now that we own everyone

A Poem by J. R.
"

This was my first try at song writing, I wrote this a year ago, the rhyme scheme is a little iffy in places.

"
The writing on the wall
means nothing at all
Now that we own everyone
They want someone to blame
Now It just isn't the same
Now that we own everyone
We used to say
we owned everything
but that was only half true
We set ourselves a goal
and that was everything
and every one of you
Go tell everyone
that we already won
Now that we own everyone
We've got profit on the mind
no competition to find
Now there's everyone working for us everyday
Get  back to work now,  what do you say?
It's okay, we know what you were about to say
And your opinion doesn't matter anyway
There was a man who
feared this day would come to be
He asked his countrymen to rise
Imagine his surprise
Now that we own everything from sea to sea
and the writing on the wall
means nothing at all
now that we own everyone
They want someone to blame
It just isn't the same
Now that we own everyone
