Commander Man (Man we're not)

Commander Man (Man we're not)

A Poem by J. R.
"

A nonsense song, however, upon rereading it, it makes a bizarre sort of sense if you look at it the right way.

"
Herbert's nothing, walk it off
Herbert's nothing, walk it off
Commander? Man, you're not
Communists? Man, we're not

Gosh we're scared, we're clawing the gnomes
Blackmail is the greatest fun
Now we gotta leave this one

Save these narrow moments for the  back dino
We'll see who guided the albino rhino
Elwood Eisner's broken knee
But it's  not enough, fat bee
Hurt comes next, no dying
Commander? Man, you're not
Communists? Man we're not

I'm a rambling cosmonaut
Men are full of things

Gosh, you're clever now, not fair, we're drinking
Gosh, that there girl is slacking off the inking

Then they took the bottled dawning
And they transposed through the awning

God was gonna rake a fish
Double backs on velcro wish

Gosh, now I'm a noise

I really liked this, and I'm not quite sure why to be honest. It's just a nice read for me. I liked how it flowed. I'm not quite sure what it means, but I can think of ways that I could interpret it.
I really liked the lines "God was gonna rake a fish/ Double backs on velcro wish," for some reason.

Anyways, nicely done, I enjoyed reading this.
