KarmaA Poem by Mary Beth MasonCheaters being cheatedHe said he never loved her, not like he loves you, so when he left her it was no big deal. After all, you're his soul mate. And unlike with her, what they had was never really real. You've been together for a while now and life has been great, but lately something's just not right. He's started actin' funny, not meeting your eye, you've got a feeling that you just can't shake. Well turn back the clock. Remember how you met. Put yourself in his first wife's shoes. All the sudden it hits you like a ton of bricks. It's that feeling they call dejavu.
Who's this other woman who's stealin' your man? The one who promised you're the only one? Well, her name is Karma, and boy is she a b***h. The cheater's just been cheated on.
Well now, what did you expect? What did you really think would happen? You could lie and cheat and not pay a price? All because you wanted what his first wife had. Did you think it all was justified? Now you're standing in her shoes and feeling what she felt.Do you feel any shame at all? Is your ego feeling shaken? Do you feel sorry for yourself? Has the irony hit your at all?
What comes around goes around, didn't you know? That's a fact in life that always is true. The golden rule appies in all facets of life, even to a cheater like you.
Just like blessing, the hateful things you can do, can come back at you a full ten fold. Her name is Karma and boy, is she a b***h. She taught you that you reap what you sow. © 2012 Mary Beth MasonAuthor's Note
