Money On Me

Money On Me

A Poem by Nat.
"

A father trying to buy love for his daughter.

"

Money on Me

15 in my ears,

20 on my neck,

I haven’t even started cause my daddy pays the check;

30 on my finger,

50 on my wrist,

Oh, just wait there’s plenty more on the list,

Now on the right side,

Same places as before,

600 lie on my wrist,

On my finger 524;

On my chest about 100,

My legs 52,

As for my feet 187,

Shhh… don’t tell mommy cause they’re practically brand new;

No I truly don’t need this,

 His brain is just a mess,

I simply want his love,

It would be priceless.

Okay, since it looks like I'm the first viewer, might I also add that if you were going for flow, you could do this: Third stanza: On my finger 524 Last stanza: His brain is a mess. Just the drop of "and" and "however" keeps the beat going. Poetry is kind of like music, it has its own tune. Bop, bop, bop. But, again, this poem is tight as for as subject and creativity.

Cool perspective. Creative. In the end, love is all any of us really want.
