two worlds

two worlds

A Poem by Hull
"

oh, what could have been.

"

Two worlds, apart.

Perfection when combined.

Two halves of a heart.

Yet the stars left unaligned.

Two steps from the finish.

Shoes nailed to the ground.

Two shadows, diminished.

The sun is not yet found.

Interesting. Enjoyed the 'amost, but not quite' factor conveyed. And the aching need to be whole, and remaining halfway there....or closer. A great poet once wrote: "Everybody dies frustrated and sad, and that is beautiful." So in that sense, this was absolutely beautiful!

Cheers!
