Shadows

Shadows

A Poem by N. Scott Cohen

As the shadows fade away
And the sun comes out to stay;
As the mothers soul cries
And the fathers tears die;

Let the light begin to shine
Let the hope pour through
In all its infinite glory

Let the diamond itself shine
Let it glow, itself divine
In all its fantastic glory

As the lights grow from your heart
And the magnificence gives you a start;
As the albatross spreads it’s wings
And the bluebirds all begin to sing

Let the beauty begin the shine
Let the splendor pour through
In all its infinite glory

Let the stone itself shine
Let it burn, itself divine
In all its incredible glory
