Assigned - Antipodean Serpents Volume 1 (Introduction)

Description: Amara, more than five hundred year old soul gatherer, is more than used to her existent reality, where she is namely engaged in her duties. She is used to spending her time with the dying mortals and sometimes even, with the master, the owner of all souls, Thanatos.

All that will visibly change for her, as soon as Thanatos offers her an assignment, which she can't possibly say no to. Her task will be to save Hayden Sumner from his fate, allotted by no other than the fate judges. Right after the news, of course, he makes her attend his centurial ball, where she is forced to acquaint with the influential creatures, which the mortals only seen in their books of Greek Mythology and for the first time she needs to show her social skills.

All is changing for Amara and therefore she is heading on a difficult journey, joining a travelling circus on their adventures. On her way she will meet people she will do anything for as well as people who would do anything to destroy her.

Most of all however, she will meet Hayden, who might just change her view on life.

Lastly, but definitely not the least importantly, I would like to dedicate this book to all the cancer patients and also to my dad, who unfortunately lost the fight against cancer on 7th March 2016. I hope you will be proud of me for following my dream.
