A Poem by S. M. Faust
"

A rebuttal.

"

In a way, reality plays a sick joke on me every day of my life by reflecting stories to keep me on my toes.
Horror stories, comedies, tragedies, tales of romance, life lessons...

...and fairy tales.

Fairy tales are more then true.
Not because they tell us dragons exist, but because they tell us they can be beaten.

...And more often then not, the dragon has shown it's ugly head, only to be slain again and again.
Until next time, my friend. I await the next time you intrude into my story.

Oh, how readily I wait. Prepared, and true.
