Watching You
A Poem by
Anonymous
watching you be happy,
suffocating,
I wanted you to suffer
and I hated
that smile that meant
that you forgot
or are forgetting

I completely relate to this. It’s torture to see others moving on when we are still inextricably linked to them and holding on to all the emotion and passion we possess for them. Ugh! It’s the worst! Thank you for expressing this passion!
