My Multi-Layered Library

My Multi-Layered Library

A Poem by Anonymous

I can't forget the day I vowed:
"This woman will be mine."
Since then, you've occupied
My writing website. Grabbing
At the rays of light, my sleepy mind
Keeps whispering the poems
I don't want to hear. You will
Appreciate them, blush, and tell
Your friends. I will re-read your emails.
You'll re-read this piece. Another
Cigarette. No, no more women.
Their sex tastes like a cannibal.
Besides, I am still figuring
Your strain of
Cannabis.

You are my altred state of consciousness.
I will get high whether you're smoking
Me or not. In multi-layered library, I browse
Dimensions, visit those where you and I
Share a realm. Imagined anything is real.
For all that's real is a made-up maze.
You are inhabiting my time, though not
My space. Not in this galaxy. But frankly,
We're quite happy in my
Fantasies.
