Give Me an F

Give Me an F

A Poem by Anonymous

You grade my soul in torturous ways,
Won't tell me if I passed or failed,
Then burden me with empty weight:
My home work is to sit and wait.
Please go ahead, give me an F,
A year of idling is inept.

Like waves of smoke and rings of haze,
Zigzags in brains of bizzare shapes,
Unconscious floating on a tip,
You are my prime LSD trip.
I drink from blue springs of your gaze
I taste the touch of your embrace,
Reflected in your blooming face,
I smell the rainbow in your breath.

I did not fall in love but I
Got stuck, unable to defy
A pointless point in my life
That has become a sketchy line.
Destroying boundries made of sand,
My sinful soul will be around
And won't allow you to be mine -
When you agree, I will deny.

I'm Satan right before he fell
From heaven to create your hell,
So hot and sweet that you won't pray
To keep your soul and flesh away.
Designed to act, to rise above,
We'll fall in love rather than stand
And wait for cruel months to crawl.
Angelic purity today,
You are tomorrow's fallen saint.
Run away now. Please run away.
I'll stain your canvass of straight lines
With splattered inkblots if you wait.
