Valentine's Gay

Valentine's Gay

A Poem by Anonymous

Happy V-Day from your friend who's as gay
as this day is full of emptiness, and as short
of words as the endlessness of this sentence,
darkness is not when in negative of itself,
reverse, as the tales about coins' heads flipped,
as a woman rolling a blunt from a man's rib
who himself came from a woman's c**t,
as this night came from the last morning's day
as I came a million times exhaling her name,
as I won't apologize for my obverse language,
as my White self won't experience Blackness,
as you'll blackmail me for my bluntness,
as her lips won't be kissing my poems away,
as your non-queer mind won't get it
what it's like to be gay,
so - forget it

- dedicated to all Queers out there
