![]() Sometimes You WonderA Poem by AnonymousSometimes you wonder what
is it that people see when looking in your eyes? Maybe they see hot liquid metal spill, fill the Universe with purity in brown disguise. Maybe they see your graceful body dance with music rivers floating from your heart- shaped lips spilling sounds of water whose waves are matching movements of your hips. Maybe they see the stubborn strand of golden orange weave fall on your face with a content expression the strand that that they don’t want to leave so they can watch imperfectness become perfection. Maybe they hear you radiate the smell of life breathing particles of happiness into existence. Maybe they’ll hear the sand of wisdom sipping through your smiling teeth. Maybe they see sincerity that
simmers from your lips giving
them shivers, followed
by serenity and peace. Bliss. Maybe they see the stubborn sea of browner shade inside your single dimple, the stubborn browner river streaming down your leg. Your stubborn dignified strong gaze that pierces everything through time and space slicing the blur of life into an endless moment. You say I’m a good poet, but this - is merely your reflection in my eyes. Maybe they see the stubborn autumn leaf pushed by a stubborn flow of love in the white sky inside
your eye - Sweet marks of constant deviance They see it all. But all they’ll say is: “Kooks, I am in love.” -to M.A.
