through the veins of the forest

through the veins of the forest

A Poem by Cornelius

through the veins of the forest.
on the path of buried leaves,
You have a choice:

Go with the current?
     And reach the shore?

Or branch off, incognisant of
everything that lie ahead?

Where do you place living
against life?

A short poem I wrote. It does have a hidden meaning, but I'll leave that to you to figure out. Constructive criticism is welcomed with open arms.
