Control can be overrated.

How easy it would be 
to leave this place,
to wake up 
when the sky is dark 
and the birds are silent,
to get on a train 
and lean my head
against a time spotted window,
while I let my life be directed 
by a track 
that is not my own.

Interesting write with these lines...and just walk away from it all and start a new...yet not knowing where the new tracks of life will take you is even harder a struggle...control as you say can be overrated...faith at times is all you have if you choose another direction...easier to wreck a building than to build a new one...takes a lot of work...to build a new foundation...
