Decalcification

Decalcification

A Poem by Michael Sabino

The lonely have preyed upon me
I can feel the holes
They bore into my skin
As they begin to fill in
With those bright midnights
When princess's cracks begin to show

The lovely will be coughing up my bones for weeks
While the lonely sleep
Petrified like gnarled claws
Reaching for nothing
