Discontent dreamersA Poem by nothing grinneranother old poem!
I will have you dressed in the best blood and flesh,
And the scabs Ill peal you fresh- An ugly butterfly But a beautiful moth! You fly high to the shamed, Bless me to your distilled frame. I want you more than you want me- To change and see, The patronising pretty little things, so ugly on the in side- Be them that pretty on the out side? So take my smiles, because I f*****g take youre scorn, You mean nothing cause Its that moth I see, that very dream, For her to see me as I see her! So youre eyes can stare that vacant hate to me, For all I am, and that nothing you see- In ignorance and hollow minds, Stand the f**k up you philistines, uncultured swines. But I know that moth I follow may never be mien, But its my dream and I peruse it- Through the bitter, my complaisant s**t- To know that one day there will be a place The shape of me to fit! So, please know I love you for you, and not in popularity! And know I hate those of you for you and not in popularity! The moth is dead! © 2008 nothing grinnerAuthor's Note
