I stand on the egde of delight.

I stand on the egde of delight.

A Poem by nothing grinner

I stand on the egde of daylight,

know I'm not a better man.

I stand the other side of midnight,

Know I am what I am.

All that I can be is not yet for filled-

hindsight is running away.

All that you want,

the way that you know me,

never forgiven, I'm flawed.

The truth won't forgive you,

won't be giving me time to-

take all that stands in our way.

And I wash all them splinters,

that lie to the witness away,

to the path of forgiveness,

its time that heals the wounds as they say.

So tell me I'm pedantic-

cause it's the art of the romantic-

to note the detail of the day.

You're the love I seek desperate,

I'm the one you know hopeless-

the ghost that is looking the wrong way.

Now daylight is fading,

But twilight is welcome-

So I promise to stay on a star.

And I wait for you looking-

for me as I'm waiting,

the other side of midnight,

you, the very edge of daylight-

Approaching my hearts delight.

Waiting.
