From the Hummber to bev road.

From the Hummber to bev road.

A Poem by nothing grinner

Water colour skies and the red brick factories down by the river side,

the forgotten end, them neglected gravyards,

overgrown they hide-

The smell of death, Chocolate and coco!

Leaking odours from drains blocked,

sneaks to the road where danger knocks.

In crack and Heads so void,

spare a ciggarette to avoid them bitten remarks,

change for the buss?

a long way to the offy I trust.

come wind, come bitter bleak, rain and puddles soaking my feet,

The litter strides the street, no new strangers I'd care to meet.

knock on the shoulder, ignore the rants,

Night clubs vomit there punters out in drunken trance.

Now hostility commen, my wits i keep close-

it's never a problem to face off the next callenge, cause I live so close,

Home is just around the corner.
