I'll come back when it's all over No need to say goodbye I'll just wait for your call Until then I'll watch the sky We'll come back when it's over I'll pack my bags for now It all just feels so much colder now Must we say goodbye? Now we're back to where we began The same air from which we felt And we sang together Now we're back to be together
This poem is beautiful! I love how you artistically describe what happens a lot in relationships: two people decide to wait for a better time to take the next step. At the same time, you also briefly examine the possibility of time making people grow even more apart, and how maybe we don't need more time, we need to just take a leap of faith. Great job, I loved it!

Wow! Thanks, it means a lot. I'm glad someone else enjoyed my writing.
I have two things to say about you, and your writing.
First, I would suggest that you don't make an author's note of "I'm not great at poetry, but I am trying.". Let people go into your poem with a clear mind. An author saying they are not great will instantly taint the reader with negativity.
Second... this poem is beautiful, emotional, and revealing. It is the kind o poem that will speak to ANYONE who has been through a relationship where the people have gone separate ways. I loved it and I hope to read more of your work in the future. I am going to send you a friend request on here so that I can keep up to date on your submissions. Thank you again for sharing this poem of yours. Cheers! :)

Hey, I'm C.W. Hawke, a 16-year-old writer, and (I like to consider myself) storyteller. I'm still learning and thought I'd finally join some like-minded people. more..
