Hold Me

Hold Me

A Poem by Miss World

I remember you visiting me in the dead of night
from a million years ago.
You climbed in through a window and whispered
in my ear.
We talked about fear, the thing that controlled our lives.
Then you held me.
Hold me again, please.
So I can know what it feels like to f**k the pain away.
Hold me.
Hold me and tell me its okay.
Make me pretend.
Make this pain stop.
F**k the pain away.

Reminded me of someone who is so insanely miserable, that the first person to come along and say something sweet, and to make you feel loved, is someone you would go to.

I REALLY love the line "Hold me again, please. So I can know what it feels like to f**k the pain away" That line just says so much about the way we are. You are incredibly talented.

The sadness you express makes my heart ache for you. I hope that whoever or whatever inflicted such a hurt on you soon become a distant memory.

Awe...this was sad...but I know how you feel. I would love for a certain person to hold me again too. I liked this though...it's honest as well. Good write. :)
