Leslie Is Lost

Leslie Is Lost

A Poem by Miss World
"

A song for my sister. I miss you everyday.

"

Verse 1:

She cries every day.

She keeps her emotions in a heart shaped box.

She has no home.

She has no real heart.

She is a lost soul just like me.

Chorus:

Leslie is lost, looking for her home.

Leslie has no friends; she hates everyone because they’re gone.

She cries every night, too sad, to understand I am the same.

Verse 2:

She is the one who lies and dies to make you happy.

She is the strong one who holds me up when the rest of the world pushes me down.

She cares so much it isn’t fair now.

She’s too busy talking to herself, so she doesn’t see me.

Chorus x2

Bridge:

Can you hear her whispers, begging for her life to return?

Can you smell the piss and vinegar that she has lived in?

Can you feel the needles as they go in deeper?

Do you feel her near or are you dead like him?

Ending:

And I won’t scream.

And she won’t fight.

She will take the pain and then watch it as it dies.

She will not die.

But I will.

Because Leslie is lost just like the rest of the girls.
