SATISFACTION

This poem is meant to change the ungrateful, unsatisfied, and those who always pursue things that can't last

Poverty or riches cannot satisfy a man,

Shame is unacceptable to him; fame can never be enough for him,

Affluence or influence cannot satisfy him,

Comfort or discomfort will give him pain.

 

A million dollar would be like nothing to him,

Ten million dollar can never be enough in his sight,

100 million dollar in his bank account is like a curse to him,

He is always ungrateful even with a billion dollar in his account.

 

He has cars, planes and ships, but still envies those who don’t have,

Though his wife is the prettiest in the world, but he still prefer to flirt around,

His many houses, oil wells and wealthy friends are of great concerns to him,

He has water bed to sleep on, but sleep is always far from him.

 

His life is full of worries due to lack of satisfaction,

His hope is not in God due to lack of satisfaction,

His trust is not in God due to lack of satisfaction,

His riches are his trouble and woe.

 

He searches for more riches all the time,

His life pursuit is to be satisfied in all,

He sings and cries for more satisfaction,

Until death finally came, and took his life.
