The BeastA Poem by HiddenYou’re a murder A thief A predator of time You suck the life out of each and every soul Including mine You add it to your collection And you walk away Never satisfied by the amount you’ve obtained Your prey can run and hide But you hunt them And you find them And you drown them There they die Under the sea you have dropped them in Their last words will never be heard Because as most beasts do You do not listen to their pleas You do not hear their reasoning You ignore the sounds of death And you pitilessly throw them to sea © 2012 Hidden |
