Blue: A Sea of Hazey Rays and Spotlight EyesA Poem by Lee W. Deason
Hey I think I know, what you came for.
Why you needed to get in, the front door in a rush. Listen just hush, don't you feel the rush? Catching up to you. If not yet then soon you'll be getting it, regretting it. Again we go, to the storytellers home. To live it out loud. We will leave, reborn and seeing new things. Not afraid. But fear told me to go back the same time next week. And you ask what's wrong. With the candle light so long. I know it's not true, but you make me believe so. It's okay. To feel this way to betray this way, so why complain? It's okay. Listen just hush what's wrong with the atmosphere, I need to know. Again we go, to the story tellers home. To live it out loud. We will leave, reborn and seeing new things. Not afraid. But fear told me to go back the same time next week. If even in shoulder deep snow, if those words will work. Cause they float my boat but I don't know if they quiet work. I've got ideals for better things but I don't know 'bout you. Are you cool with it, do you wanna strangle it? Cause you are.... Getting it.... You're regretting it.... It's catching up to you.... I know what you paid for. In the storytellers house. Something cut, something lean, something in between. Come back tomorrow, you like the living form more and more. Listen just hush, don't you feel the rush? Catching up to you. But I know these words will work. Don't go touching what you've been thinkin'. Just keep on dreaming 'til it don't come true. .... 'til it finds you. © 2008 Lee W. DeasonReviews
