I'm sorry I broke your smile.

I'm sorry I broke your smile.

A Poem by Lee W. Deason

O no let it go. You could of kept your big mouth shut.
From f****n up with talking about whats already over.
So just be a push over and let it stem, cause it goes down smoother.

When your keepin your hand on your mouth.
With a straight face and casual positions.

She said that "There's a difference in tone, and color.
You know I know you. Even when your tongue is shrewd."
Baby, if you only knew that I'm killing myself instead of you.

When I'm keepin my hand over my mouth.
I wish I had a straight face to cover it up.
But I don't like to be in the spotlight.
It's better with you and not me in this scene.

All I've got is big trouble in, a plastic bag with funny numbers and strange ideas.
A carousel with no speed, stop motion in stop motion filmography.

Cause I could just let it go, it'll show that I'm trying.
To make a perfect bed for you, to finally smile in.
When I'm keepin my hand over my mouth.
I wish I had a straight face to cover it up.
But I don't like to be in the spotlight.
It's better with you and not me in this scene.

When it's late and we are speakin... about little things that we've been thinkin.
I tend to fall down and realize... I feel your pain worse than I feel mine.
That you feel my pain worse than I feel mine.
That I don't realize I almost let you down.

i really like this poem. mysterious & intriguing, witty. i like the imagery used throughout. "When I'm keepin my hand over my mouth". sometimes that's the best thing to do. & the title is brilliant & sad. I love it.
