Cause theres a hole in my side, with rotton wood and it leaks my efforts.

A Poem by Lee W. Deason

In a long time spent with eyes open.
Discovery came with an old question. One the moon will lay over time and time.
It's not out of date, or too late.

Yet I am not worried about today.
Cause I'm here.
I'm not gonna ask about tomorrow.
Cause it'll come.

Your supposed to speculate and state.
What angle you watch, and wait from.
Until something you don't know comes.
Just make sure you know what your doing.

Cause it worries me everyday.
Cause I'm here.
And tomorrow laughs at me.
Cause it'll come.
Back for more except yesterday.

Cause in the long time I spent.
With my eyes closed I thought of you.
We danced for ever, like we do.
But it's not so cheery here.
Sitting here thinking and living.
The tragedy of the year.
The story of me without you.

Great poem. I love the line "Back for more except yesterday".

Why so many periods?
